Weeeeellll - i once got my dainty tootsie stuck in the tap whilst having a bubbly / rose petal strewn bath. A thousand candles filled the room, gently music playing, glass of wine in hand.... I'm SHATTERED!!! M has had meltdown after meltdown today . He is so rigid at the moment - any teeny-tiny thing is sending him into sheer panic. I've done all i can think of to help him - some has worked, some hasn't. He's scratched his face, bashed his head on the wall, screamed (that sad, i've had enough scream ) sooooo many times today. He's still awake, and rocking on his bed under his fleecy blanket - doesn't want me near him, which hurts, coz i just wanna hug him Tired, tired, tired.

Reading through some bits written - i very much hope that the police get a swift kick up the backside. They clearly had no clue about language difficulties some people with AS have, the 'stalking of the other woman' was actually Barry talking to different woman (not just the one) as he was out. He didn't pick up on their subtle clues, didn't realise they didn't want to speak to him. He was told this was 'stalking' by the police - so that's what he called it - the newspapers love a good story eh??? ................it goes on and on. Everything crossed that they don't jump on the bandwagon. Would be fantastic to have some good and accurate explanations of AS in the media. Unfortunately - that's not nearly as exiting as 'AS/learning difficulties/whatever difficulties mass-murdering-weirdo'................

Hi all, I've noticed recently that M's breath is foul... really foul . His teeth are cleaned well morning and night & he uses a mouthwash. His teeth are perfect, nothing going on inside his mouth that looks odd. He's also spending ages on the loo - not sore, or yucky or anything - just takes him forever (typical man i hear you all say.... ). Anyhow, the breath, loo habits and some other things (eczema, being quite spacey etc...)have made me start to wonder if it's a gut problem. I know our little darlings are more susceptible to gut problems - so i thought I'd ask for some advice. What can i do to be sure it's a yeast / bacteria problem? And, what can i do to fix it? (Oh, and if anyone has managed to persuade their child's GP or consultant to pay for the Sunderland Urine Analysis??) Also, if anyone knows of a good site / forum to do with ASD's and diet, could they let me know. There appear to be thousands of them !! Ta Muchly

Mumble - i used to love xfiles, right up until i had M. They frighten the life out of me now! (watched the film White Noise the other night, still get jumpy when i think of it!! I had to move the bedside lamp, coz i was too scared to turn off the light and then get into bed! ) Right............soppy-fest coming up. Girliees, grab hankies. Blurkeys, grab sick bucket T'was sitting on a picnic blanket, in our back garden yesterday. Monkey was laying on the mat - with his head resting on my legs. He was watching the leaves swishing about in the trees. It was sunny, but not baking, breezy, but not cold. I was reading monkey a book. I'd just finished a chapter - and looked at M........ and thought, i'm a lucky thing. We don't have much in the way of material things - but boy, what we do have in every other area of our lives is fantastic. Made me soppy sausage that i am.
