excelent sounds like he was a grumpy man anyway,queuing and our kids just dont mix, patience is not a strong point for mine, i give him things to count in shops it keeps him going for at least 20 seconds, then its back to its taking to long. theresa xx

d/s is as bad if he has to go to toilets in certain burger bars he comes out shouting how smelly and dirty they are, i have to hang my head in shame and hes not breathing until we hit fresh air, i try and take him to ladies loos now as they seem to be less smelly,(sorry all you men on here) theresa xx

my darling son has done it again when out shopping on sat we were in a shop when he stoped mid walking and shouted out to me MUM LOOK AT THAT BIG BOTTOM THAT LADY HAS well you should have seen the colour of my face it was bright red when i said not to shout things out like that he looks at me all inocent and says but she has got a big bottom mummy, i realy do love his honesty and must admit to having a giggle about it later with his dad, he did the same thing the other wk when his dad took him golfing a man in the cube next to him on the driving range said hello and ds replyed hello wow you have got a big tummy havent you, the man took it realy well and started laughing, and my hubby started breathing again just thought i would share these funny little moments with you all. theresa xx

hi all and thanks for all your advise, i think it should be the same for all areas it would make things alot clearer but i soppose that is just asking for to much. hi chris i do hope you get things sorted soon for you and your family, we were thinking of moving areas some time next year but i think i may wait till referal is complete 1st now, it must be realy hard for you its like doing it all twice and i am finding once hard at the mo, good luck and takecare theresa xx

hi sorry about lack of info 1st point is who we have to see 1st to see where and who ds will be refered to in our area. is this not the same for all areas i am now a bit confused, i think they might been known as steps in some areas ( i think) i am so new to all this i thought it was the same referral pattern as everyone else. i will be glad when next monday comes and i can get some more answer about the whole process, i have taken the form into ds school and they are going to add to it for me with they veiws on him as well, i will let you know how it all gos. and thanks for the reply once again i am very sorry for lack of info. theresa x

hi and welcome and no you are not going mad, i have a 6 yr old ds who is just going through the dx prossess and belive me i feel like i am going insane also,i know it seems a long way off but you have manage up to now so hold in there and remember noone knows our kids like us mum and dads, good luck with dx and keep us up to date with things takecare theresa x

hi i have now received my 1st visit from 1st point of action it is on monday 13th oct. so nervous all ready they have given me a p4-16 form to fill in which seems simple enouth, should i also write down all the stuff they dont ask on this form, are should i just talk it through with them the meeting is in my home so i will have to keep ds off school, i will speak with school and give them a copy of letter so its not down as absent, any advise would be greatfully received from all of you who have gone through this prossess, also i keep wonting to cry dont know why perhaps it just because they will confirm all. thanks theresa x

thanks billabong you gave me a chuckle at that one, this wk has been totaly different at school he has been bullied by his only 2 freinds he has at school, had to have parents over to speak about this and also informed school both children have now said sorry and seems to be ok but it gos from one thing to another. thanks theresa x

news flash my ds has just asked me for the new bun making thingy advertised on tv at mo, then he says but its pink, i know what mum you can buy it for you and i will help make them, cheek or wat theresa

hi, i got my ds the vtect console when he was 3yrs old it is a bit like a game console but the cartrigdes you get for them are fun and educational, you can get tomas the tank on it as well as dora and loads more, i would defo recommend this, my ds is now 6 so has upgradered to xbox, but he did have hrs of fun on it. cheers theresa
