not sure whether to congratulate you or not as you sound confused.im a mum of five and its really hard work with ds1 being adhd and ds2 being asd and dd2 having heath problems.hope you have a great pregnancy and congratulations.

that my ds is autistic in writting,he also has a new major buggy to help from the o/t

looks like my ds will get his 2morrow,had phonecall 2 b at clinic 2morrow for a hand over of buggy so that will make my life easier.also got my dd coing home from hospital 2morrow.

ive had a similar problem with my dd and her consultant told me if it happens again them they will scope her to see if their are any problems.maybe you could be referred for something simailar as it could be inflammed bowel diesese(soz spelling) i would certainly ask a gp and then get reffered on to count it out.

dont worry my 3yr son copies my 6yr old behaviour to the t but thats all it is and will grow out of it.he doesnt have any problems like my 6 yr old at all thats why i say its coping and not asd.my oldest dd is 13 and no issues except being a teenager lol and my other two children are very plesent and know thier manners when they need to although one of them is adhd but has no behaviour isues.i didnt have a very good pregnancy with 6yr old son and had medical complications so blame that for his condition.dont beat yourself up about it,it isnt your fault and when the terrible twos and fretful threes have passed the copying will cease its just their way of gaining attention.

mothercare also sell them but not the accessories.ebay also sell them for half the price.im at mo waiting for an ot appointment for my son after being refered by his hv but she had to put down she was a community nurse so she could do referral although at the time didnt realise my sons own disabilties communtiy nurse could do this,also the childs peaditrition can also make the referral

i dont know if it is or not to be honest, my husband is adhd and so is my oldest son,my middle son is asd/adhd and my nephew is apergers but his cousin on his dad side is asd and no blood relative just to my sisters son.i really dont know.

hiya, speaking to my sister yesterday and she was reading her sons peaditrition{soz spelling} report and she said that the paed,s.a.l.t and ed psy all had to agree{jcc) before given dx for her son,my paed thinks my son is def asd but has yet not given a dx,he is on school action plus also has s.a.l.t but no ed psy at mo although i have gently mentioned this to the head/senco,her response was they have one but not for any indivdual child but as a group on the whole although she said she is gathering evidence for he to be statemented, my question is is that correct because while she read letter out it came across that her pead wasnt sure of his dx on his own but mine is. My pead also said before he started school he would be sen child which he now been proving right,she had also previously dx my other son for a.d.h.d. i was wondering about calling parents in partnership to see if they could approach this on my behalf to the school and wondered what you guys thoughts were please.

thanks for that i will write a letter 2 mp regarding helping with dla, spoke 2 ts pead and she is going to write a report 2 dla stateing his has needs more than advertage child.she also said the previous sch head called her moaning about my complaint 2 LEA and mp so think ive rattled a few cages. just spoke to another mother and she said the incidents regarding her son with said senco were recorded and to persive with it as senco isnt do job properly and still isnt regarding her child.dr s said speech is no longer available for yr ones and over so need to find out how to get further help with it without paying for private speech sessions any advice would be apprecated.but at last i see light at end of tunnel,dla have recoreded that they are waiting for further evidence so now not panicking over time issue.i just like to say no one give up regarding your childrens needs as u are helping other children with sn by not giving up. merry christmas everyone.

<'> there is justication in this world after all, had letter from mp the other day that he had put in hands of them kent county council counciller for education.today got letter from the counciller and he has said he is contact with the LEA over this matter about said SENCO at said school and waiting for a response on what they are going to do about it. meanwhile im going to ask new senco/headmistress whom is very nice to do a letter for dla about ts needs as well as copies of all letters regarding previous senco between bodies and copy of ts IEP.so hopefully it will sort this mess out previuos SENCO as created for him. so fingers crossed he gets what he needs.

ive been trying to sort this out since april this year.

im soo angry. it went to appeal and they went on t previous senco(whom ive cmplained about to lea,chair of sch and local mp and now conciller in education) so they have turned him down saying that in letter,althought they were told in written to contact new senco. this child is on school action plus,has speech/language of a three year old and a community nurse.to add insulted to injury i now also been told by his speech/language therispst he wont get help now within the school system as they dont now after they turn 6.he has been having speech help since he was three. im so flipping angry and at myself for sending to that prevoius sch in first place.he wasnt on any school action in the 8 mths he was there, and them saying their was n othing wrong with him.i feel like crying.ive 4 wks to appeal against the decision of this appeal as anyone got any advise please.i cant afford private speech for him and i scared he is going to fall more further behind than he already is.

well done,mines next week as i appealed against his rate he got for low care after being turned down then it revised.i started mine in april.

I SPOKE TODAY WITH HIS COMMUNITY NURSE AND TOLD HER WHAT HAPPENED, SHE IS SENDING ME AN ABC DIARY TO KEEP AND FILL IN THEN COMING OUT IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND GOING TO DO A HOME RUN WITH ME FROM SCHOOL TO MONITER HIS BEHAVIOUR AND WHAT IS TRIGGERING HIS MELTDOWNS FROM SCHOOL. STILL TRYING TO GET HOLD OF HIS DOCTOR BUT TO NO AVAIL DISPITE LEAVING MESSAGES. GOT HI IEP FROM SCHOOL TODAY CONFIRMING HE IS ON ACTIONPLUS AGREED WITH ALL BUT ONE THING ON IT REGARDING HIS BEHAVIOUR WITH OTHERS AND KNOWING THAT IT HURTS WHICH I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITHOTHER THAN THAT I CAN SEE HE IS REALLY BEHIND. IM JUST HOPEFULLY HIS DOC WILL GIVE HIM SOME MEDICATION

its my sons behaviour,2night put all 3 boys in bath while i made my bed and all hell broke losse t had pushed j in2 mirror smashing it, he had caught his elbow and had a nick so nothing major but his behavour is getting worse his tried strangle a couple of times my 3 yr old and he hits,pushs and bits the others as well as me, as loads of meltdowns everyday and i cant see his doc till aftr christmas as her dad has just died so going to call his community nurse in morning he is only 6 but so agressive. he has his moments in school but nothing like at home.he hasnt an ed pcy yet and not sure how i go about getting one.he isnt on any meds and doesnt sleep well he was running around till eleven last night. if anyone has any evidence i would be grateful im finding this all difficult at mo.

paperwork tell me about it,it just goes on.im sending off today all the paperwork to the chair of govenors saying im taking this further and to the lea as well as the local mp so now have to see how this turns out.Parents are complaining to me big time that she is useless so although my sons are at a diffrent school i still feel she should be removed from this privaliged job so have to wait now for results hopefully before they brake up for christmas. still waiting for dla appeal as not till not month but they will have a doc on panel so that should help.

while you were having problems i was with my son he was having a meltdown and was partly in road, it took me about ten minutes to move him with cars going past, then i was around the corner from home and it got all dark and the heavens opened and t was having another 5 mins so i got wet, walking with t is a nightmare my hv has just filled in some forms 4 him to get a buggy so i can get him home safely,its reassureing im not the only one going though this.

hiya, ive been sorting my sons out since april, it was turned down the i asked for it to be look at again with further evidence from his community nurse, it was then revised and he was given low for care but nothing for getting around. Now its in appeal and i will be given a decision next mth. dont give up you will get there ,mine was first turned down cause of his previous useless senco as they sent me all copies of documents involved after i went to appeal so sorting that out to (another long story~). anyway put in for appeal and state under headings applieing to your child and then explain why and how it would benifit your child,good luck and another load of paperwork

hoya lauren ive been sorting my sons out since april,sept they gave him low for care and nothing else so its in appeal so i should hear after the appealing hearing on the 15 of next month.They seem to like to draw it out and his previous senco done the same on the form which caused my orignal application to be rejected dispite the salt and paeds reports to them. It help and what decided to give him low was that he has a community nurse assigned to him in august.My hv is finding out about an ot for him to see if they can help as well, but if that happens to you hold in there and dont give up. The senco im in process of a complaint with her has didnt get anywhere with the chair im now taking it further luckily my sons have moved schools on the advice from the salt and his pead. good luck hope all goes well.

all i can go on is my two boys one being what his doc says pure adhd, where he has no behaviuor issues but the lack of concertration,impulses. rushing and hyperactivity along with lack of sleep and my other boy that is adhd /asd that has all the above then all the other stuff off asd such as meltdowns continuos and lack of danger, hand flapping, speech probs,plays alone,learning difficulties, obessions etc. hope that helps

hi i have a 6yr old boy with asd, getting around outside is a nightmare to the continous meltdowns and lack of danger awareness he has, does anyone know where i could get a special pushchair for him to use? thanks in advance for your help.

guys i didnt mean all sencos just the useless ones,t new senco is great with lots of experience but the previous senco @ previous sch is useless, she is the deputy head of that school. Alot of parents since the boys have left including an lsa have said how she isnt helping their children where these children clearly need help.The woman walks around with her nose in the air and give this attitude to everyone(i just to think it was just aimed at me). Although my boys are at another school now i did go through some stressful times because off this senco,also i feel i need to continue for the other children still there. These sencos need to be educated as well as ones with bias opnion should not be in that particular job dealing with these specail children that need the help not hinderence. anyway will keep you informed how it goes.
