  1. Drinking is illogical. Tastes horrible and kills you.
  2. I saw it yesterday, was great
  3. At least you don't work at the Jobcentre. Imagine how depressing it'd be if you quit then had to come in the next day! But yeah, do you say that you're an Aspie on your CV? BTW, the job market at the moment sucks for everyone at the moment, Aspie or not, so don't feel too bad if you don't get accepted. Blame bankers and hedge funds, that's what everyone else does. I personally blame lack of proper regulation. If you agree with me, go ahead and blame that, too.
  4. Useful site and shameless self promotion: http://www.teenagerswithaspergers.com/
  5. Cool! I taught myself HTML at 10! I'm 16 now and I acutally know a bit of ARM assembly code! Welcome!
  6. My mum got something like that before, but the date on it was the 1st of January 2000 and it had a reply-to address which had a purposely misspelled word in it (something only an Aspie would notice, that is ).
  7. Congratulations! It's great that companies like this exist, too
  8. ASD = Autistic Spectrum Disorder, all forms of autism come under this Asperger's and High Functioning Autism = for all practical intents and purposes, they are the exact same thing, and will be merged in 2013
  9. Tell him right now. The sooner the better! If I haden't been told at an early age, I would have had a much harder time than I did. EDIT: Just noticed the post above
  10. The same thing is happening to me too. The file I was uploading was a mere 13kb and 150x113 but it still said too large.
  11. Normal NT stuff like using public transport is hard for me, but then, assembly code and Linux hacking is hard for NTs. So, if I'm lazy for finding public transport hard, then the NTs are lazy for not learning how to port Android to their iPods!
  12. Hey, I'm a 16 year old new member, too, so welcome from me
  13. If you've got a Mac, Handbreak is good for the job. If you have a PC, just do some Googling. As for legality - technically, it's unlawful (not illegal, unlawful, because it's a civil offense, not criminal) to even import your CDs in iTunes, but no one's kicked up a fuss about it because no one really cares. The entertainment industry is too busy creating a fuss about how evil BitTorrent (which was created by an Aspie, BTW) is instead, never mind that "pirates" buy more music, eh? However, I'll just tell you to only rip non-copyrighted content and trust you to keep to it... Then we're all happy
  14. I do agree it simplifies it, but the important thing to note is that they're probably not taking it too seriously, it's just as a bit of fun like all Facebook quizzes. My family all did the Wired AQ test after seeing it on TV before, and the results were pretty interesting - I got the highest score, since I'm the only one in the family diagnosed, but my dad's score was pretty close, and now that I think about it, he does seem pretty Aspie.
  15. Hello! I'm a 16 year old Aspie from London. I like money, I like computers, I like gadgets, I like Apple. Nice to be here
