I love having aspergers. the more i go through life, the more i realise how amazing it is to be an aspie. every aspie ive met is gifted in some way. they are all dedicated, and much more determined than any other pepole ive met. most NT's miss the little minor details of life that we notice, and analise. those minor details can be the difference between a winner and a loser. i find some pepole that are NT, to be quite ignorant, rude, selfish and money hungry. basically, i wouldnt be NT even if i was given all the money in the world, dunno about you............

Very well said. if this forum had a like button, this is when i would be clicking on it. this should be stickied and included in the registration proccess when members join. i.e (you must read this before you can post!)

Its human nature aspie or not. best thing to do is stick to what your belifs are. if everyone was the same the world would be boring. but i digress, respect is everything, therefore make sure you add the 'i respectfully disagree' disclaimer before you reply. otherwise things tend to spiral down into a battle of the wits. (which on one ever wins)

Thankyou, glad you like it. no im not a moderator, i belive in a self moderating forum, each of our profiles belong to us, and as such we own them and should have reasponsibility for our own actions. i like to tell it as i see it. i consider myself an influence (not sure if good or bad yet) but i dont think the boards would have me as a mod lol. i have a very good relationship with the mods though.

The time seems about right, my mind is settled and im ready to rock this place. ive been in and out and it seems this forum has fallen into a self hating mess. im here to be honest, a good 75% of you come on here now to moan. The word forum to me, means disscussion. not to have a 'no one has it worse off than me contest' i have news for you, life is hard for everyone, and you are not an exeption! let me tell you something, you only make it harder for yourself by complaining all the time, and even after you have had your moan the problem is still there. not only that, the other members find you irritating, which only builds a barrier between you and the others. also alot of you think you are owed something, quess what? your not. ive seen it too often, people giving advice, only for a member to take exeption to it, and throw back the help back in the posters face. that person your sandbagging is a real human like you, they have feelings and were being kind hearted by taking the time to reply to you. (they really diddnt have to!) A forum is for advice yes, but its your reasponsibility to take heed of said advice. if you dont understand something, we will expain in a different way. Anyway intro over, please dont think im being an ass, im merely speaking for the pepole that pm me with there concerns. and to be quite honest, i take reasponsibility for myself, if you dont like my post simply report me, i wont lose sleep. On other news, one of my forums has been abondoned. ive decided to focus my energy onto this forum, my mission is still the same as ever, i will spread the word, and shout it from the roof tops, aspergers is an ability not a disability. i havent returned to be mr popularity, ive returned now to fulfill my agenda, i dont have time for petty arguments. my mission is to help you become proud of your aspergers, and not see it as a flaw. but dont worry, i may sound scary, but im still the same old uncle warrior ive always been, a cheeky joker, and an advocate for playful banter. i do find the time for fun as well. and on that note i couldnt return without a tune, some of you will know this well: couldnt resist.

one night only return, im back on holiday after this post! just here to add my 2 cents as i love this forum like a second home. i think the idea of an adults only forum is good but.... it could tempt in kids regardless. if it says adults only kids are going to want to see whats going on. (just like when i was a kid and would sit on the stairs to see what my parents were watching on tv after 9pm) you could of course ask for age verifcation. i.e type in some sort of ID that confirms there age, like a passport number, or NI number but not sure how it would work. just playing the devils advocate, but you could direct them to my forum, (hint hint lol) and i'll be happy to discuss these things with them in an over 21,s subforum. or you could set up a pm system on here, where you have pepole assigned to a group of pepole that are happy to discuss these things with, and then that way they can say what they want privatley and without kids peeping through the keyhole. this was a copy and paste job from my pm box. this was the same message i sent to lufty. thought id make it public. anyway, back into my holiday. see you guys in nov/dec time!

hi all, im taking some time out of this forum to take on all my real life endeavours. i have a trip to fund for march, college, new placements etc etc. even moving house and learning my way around new parts. i will pop back to watch the 5 hour video, probably near my birthday (mid october) and i,ll be communicating to my friends via pm regularlly. also over the next few days im going to launch and new forum called 'aspergers and proud of it' its going to be a place you can talk about all your hobbies and interests and really talk about them and pepole really want to listen! lol, and basically the oppisite to this forum, you can talk about all the things you like about aspergers and start aspergers awarnes groups etc. i dont expect many members to join so i wont make it very large, just 4 or 5 sub forums and a basic layout. ive put the link to the site in my signture. i will be back when im settled into all my life changes. (its quite a handfull at the moment) probably november time. i will be reading pm,s but i,ll probably only reaspond to the guys on my friends list. anyway chow for now, see you in the winter!
