  5. no he doesnt like them has said so to me and if asked by a proffesional he says hes got no one to cover the lesson. head is about much use a chocolate teapot talks over me and is totally ignorant to his needs as she has nothing to do with the sen side. when you go to see the senco they wont give you an appointment without knowing what is about first and then they are prepared with big long words to put me off and end in tears. his teacher 2 yrs ago was excellent and has got him to the point he is now and apart from teaching himself to read (his way) he hasnt progressed as far as im concerned. I have had snip involved but senco was difficult about meetings we were to have together cancelling at the last minute etc. I would love to move him out of this school but my other 2 are happy and settled and coming on really really well and as a single parent i cant take 3 kids to 2 different schools at the same time, its soooooo fustrating.
  6. i think he is behind his peers but the school say that thier are others that need more help than him not a racist but these children are immigrants (ss if ive offended) and have bad english problems having to start from scratch. they have changed programs on his iep so many times that he is confused and uses bits from very program and still gets it wrong. His teacher wont come to meetings cause he doesnt like them??? what he means is he wont put his foot in it.
  7. correction made to all you that think im a idiot
  8. right if got my head round this just about as the dr is off sick and nobody else will discuss this with me i wondered if you very very kind peeps would help. right ive googled lorna wing and shes a dr whos wrote lots of books on autism but the rest baffles me "When considering the possibility someone having a diagnosis such as ASD, it is important to keep in mind that this is a clinical diagnosis, which is based mainly on feedback and obs and that a degree of diagnostic uncertainty will remain. Further more, not all people with ASD have similar profile and would differ considerably with regards to strengths and difficulties. Lonra Wing suggests that the term ASD is used opposed to other diagnostic systems" i think i have got this bit its just saying every child with ASD is different. "on the basis of this through and comprehensive assessment, J demonstrates difficulties seen on the Autistic spectrum that cannot be explained by his borderline learning ability alone" now the school (mainstream) and ep say that his education is ticking along nicely, but i have noticed my 6 yr old can do things educationally that he cant.but they have maintained that im wrong and they are right and have said nothing about him being "borderline". He is way behind in his maths he can add small sums but he cant take away let alone divide and multiply spelling is rubbish he still spells how you say it ie Luv do i get on thier back and throw a major wobbly and demand more one to one time or do i demand a statement even though ep says he dont need itbtw hes 11 in october. thanks in advance <'> have just read this back what a idiot...... what i am trying to ask is on the dx of dyspraxia they would do nothing about statement and 1 to 1 support on the diagnosis of ASD and what she has said should i push for help for him
  9. "Oh you are such an expert! Tell you what I will bring my son to stay with you for a week and you can sort him out! Just wait there while I pack a case" Sarah ;-) i did this to my "friend" as she said she would sort out his sleep pattern guess what he was home 2 days later and she said his constant talking knackered her out it was not a nasty as it sounds she lives on the same street but i wanted to shut her up with the "if he was mine" thing. She has said nothing again
  10. with my 2 that are not asd they were out of nappies day and night at about 18 months but my eldest who has asd was about 6 yrs old day and night he was going school in nappies!!. Leave them till they are ready. My sis pushed her girl who is 2 she did it for a fortnight and has now gone back to wearing nappies all the time. There is no hard and fast rule.

  13. Hmmm well that has got to be js ot as she is brilliants (got him diagnosed with dyspraxia)and very closely followed by CAHMS
  14. well the conclusion is that he has neurodevolopmental difficulties and he is currently functioning on the borderline ability range his visual reasoning and possessing skills fell within this aswell.( btw im am coping this off the report dont ask me what it means) He uses a marked literal understanding of language i know what that is that getting out of wrong side of bed thing:cheesy: He show demonstrates difficulties seen on the autistic spectrum that cannot be explained by his borderline learning ability alone. there is loads of bits of papers with different test results and i would be here typing all week but if someone could possably give me it in english lol they have been advised to give him the diagnosis of ASD

well parents evening was a farce. they dont know anything about the bullying apparently if the dinnerladies see anything they tell the teacher so yet again jords being called a liar. he came home tonight with a scuff mark on the BACK of his knee from a girl that is a well known bully and again they didnt see anything. Apparently his handwriting is coming on well even though hes 10 and my 6 yr old can write better boy is he gonna suffer going to secondary. Hes always full of smiles and eager to do tasks well hes gonna cause he scared of the head teacher and we get the come back at night. i said about taking him out and home eding him and he said that would be silly over a bit of bullying!!!!! Its not the bullying it their whole attitude grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  23. mine told me that j showed no autisic traits at school WHAT he does here and infront of drs but he doesnt at school ????
