butterfingersbimbo Report post Posted November 29, 2006 well its generally twisty here as we eat wholewheat pasta.....it doesnt come in as many varieties as white pasta which i think is very very unfair no wonder society is going to pot!!!!

Kathryn Report post Posted November 29, 2006 Thank you, the Neil, for raising this very important subject. I like linguine (very thin ribbons - hope I've identified it correctly ). L likes the twisty ones - "curly worms" in our house. My least favourite is penne - they don't half stick to the bottom of the pan. Not so much the shape though- it's what's on 'em that counts. bid Report post Posted December 10, 2006 I like to think penne has a certain air of sophistication about it! Boho
oxgirl Report post Posted December 10, 2006 Ick, penne is too chewy! Give me tagliatelle any day, especially the three colour one. Jay will only eat the twisty ones though, he can't do 'dangly', so we're a two-saucepan family! ~ Mel ~
