What do you do to keep sane?

:wallbash: Struggling at the moment with a very negative school and feeling very low. How does anyone else get rid of the stress and keep sane?

How do i beat the stress? To be honest - some days i just can't. It's increadably stressfull.

 

All sunshine and light arn't i!

 

I think what i'm trying to say is - I have days like the one your having now. I find the best thing is to either get on the phone to a friend or come on here for a giggle.

I cook. It's the only thing that switches my brain off. This week it's mince pies and cranberry and orange muffins because I'm being festive.

seriously though i find it hard to unwind and relax,i think telling someone my worries always helps,the pc keeps me sane because i can escape for a while into cyberworld.

Hi,

 

I comfort eat, which is not good because i've managed to put on a stone :crying: .

 

I have also started swimming (need to shift those pounds!), which I find a real stress reliever. Sometimes i just swim up and down with my brain switched off, and sometimes i do some serious "thinking". I feel really refreshed afterwards.

 

Krism is also a GREAT way of staying sane (or trying to BECOME sane! :wacko: ),

:P i have bought an excercise machine but not yet took it out off box lol

i like pc to to take my mind of things

but i have baths most nights cause all the stress goes in my neck

have booked myself in for aromatherapy massages in jan cant wait :lol:

I campaign and answer our local autism hotline. Yes I know I am sad and need a life, or so my 18 year old AS son tells me. But it actually does help me to de-stress, because helping others make me feel good :)
