lyns Report post Posted February 17, 2006 Hi I will be moving to Hampshire some time this year as my partner will be moving jobs (live in essex at the mo) so I was wondering if anyone knew of any schools that are worth reccommending for me to go and look at. Have already seen one which is called XXXX ( edited by moderator ) which is in Fareham and it and this looked good but want to see more than one. My son is nearly 6 and is autistic and I am actually looking more for an autistic school rather than mainstream. He is non verbal and has challenging behaviour problems. (it is a big County, and educational provision varies greatly across the County, as does respite/playschemes). Most of the LEA special schools are CLD now (complex learning difficulties), which have arisen from the amalgamation of MLD and SLD schools.
