I can't get into teaching because my first degree is psychology and so I'm not specialist enough (at secondary this is) so I don't see why you should have someone teaching that does not have their first degree in the subject area - it's ridicuolous. Good luck with it.

But I would expect different types of profs to have different levels of knowledge - and his teacher I expect a bit more than someone like his dentist iyswim.

I moved mine and it worked wonders. Unfortunately we had to move again and he has trouble again. Wish he could still be in the last school. Good luck with it.
