  1. I want to own and manage a cycling team. Alternatively, I'd like to sail a boat in the Med providing trips for very small groups of tourists.
  2. I know my IQ but I think all it shows is that I'm good at IQ tests!

  5. I have read the first book. It is absolute rubbish. Badly written and with no plot to speak of. It did nothing for me at all and my husband certainly didn't bebefit from me reading it. The Chrissie Wellington book will enhance your life much more.
  6. Yes, loads of times. I once hid behind some cars in a car park and I've also hidden under my umbrella! I also hide when friend's call at my house unexpectedly.
  7. I did one of these testa years ago. It came up with beautician or dental receptionist. I'm actually a tax accountant!!
  8. I absolutely love it. Bet you look fabulous in it. L x

    Hi

    Hello and welcome, Isobel x
  10. Hi Donald Welcome to the forum. Not sure whether it's 'normal' to rehearse conversations in your head beforehand but I do it all the time. If I didn't I would have no idea what to say to people. L x
  11. Sounds like we share the same parents although my mum has to have a cup of Ovaltine at 10.00pm ( she even takes it on holiday with her).
  12. Wine and chocolate (preferably both at the same time) Lx
  13. I feel exactly the same. I also have trouble identifying myself as a female but am not male either.

    New to Forum

Hi pabs. Welcome to the forum. So sorry to hear about your mum. You sound as if you have had a difficult life and maybe it's time to be kind to yourself now you have less responsibility. I have only known for a year that I have Asperger's (I'm 48) and it takes some getting used to. If I was to offer any advice it's not to dwell on how things would have been different if you'd known earlier.
  15. I scored 19 but I think that was mainly due to luck. Without the multiple choice answers I wouldn't have had a clue.

    Pain

Hi Chris, This happens to me regularly and my calf muscle is sometimes sore all day afterwards. i've found the best way to ease the initial pain is to flex my foot so my toes are pointing upwards. This has an immediate effect although I've no idea why it works. L x
  17. Hi Lynda I would feel a bit strange accentuating my autistic behaviour after years of trying to hide it and like you I like the way I am now much better than the way I was when I was younger. L x
  18. Thank you for your post, Lyndalou. I feel that you have just summed up my life and it makes me sad to know that someone else has been through the same things as me but it's encouraging to know I'm not alone. L x
  19. I love to listen to music but can never remember band names or the names of songs and I can't identify a song from a few bars either. L x

    Mothers Day

Your mum sounds very special. I hope she had a lovely Mother's Day and wasn't too sad. It's good she has a caring daughter to let her know she's loved. L x
  21. Thinking of you today. Hope it all goes well. L x

  25. Hi smileyK I've been doing Zumba for nearly 2 years now and it does get easier. i was hopeless at first and was bumping into other people and always facing the wrong way but now I am fine apart from when we learn a new number and then it takes me a couple of weeks to get the hang of it.I haven't lost any weight but my co - ordination has improved and I am much fitter now.
