TA - teaching assistant SENCO- special educational needs coordinater sumat like that. sencos are teachers TAs dont as far as i can gather and sencos do a day course on it from what i was told maybe wrong

thanks im ok now just needed to rant. got parents evening tonight so ill make a show of myself and tell him exactly how i feel and what i intend to do.

still no letter from cams for formal diagnosis. Have just found out from another child that jord is being bullied part of this is the other boy spitting chewed up sandwiches at him in the dinner hall where the f is the dinner lady when this is going on?? i knew something was going on cause hes beening leaving some of his lunch. But Jordan doesnt know what bulling is, everybody is his friend. He gets excluded from team sports by other kids and the teacher ok ok i know he has dyspraxia but he does try his best and the teacher should no better surely.. im at my wits end with this school they keep piling the work on this week hes doing fractions and decimals but........... he cant add 12 and 4 makes no sense to me making him do this. i am at my wits end i cant do with the moods every night the answering me back and im a seriously considering taking him out and home educating him. sorry for the rant im off for a cry now.

Ours is the senco, deputy head, and year 6 teacher. The only day you can have an appointment with him is on a wednesday and then if you are lucky. Does anyone else have a multi-tasking Senco?

is it a 5 point harness that clips in to the middle strap(the one between legs) if so just turn the clip(to undo it) on to the inside next to the leg

i can tell you now "" doesnt do that here"" "" no his maths is coming on fine "" even though dd (4) knows more than him. ""handwriting skills are excellent"" ""oh no he gets everything on the right way round here"" "" must be playing up for YOU"" ""your a bad parent"" ""you nag to much"" ok ok not the last 2 but near enough. no i will give them the benifit of the doubt and if i dont laugh about it id only cry.

3 and a half months later and i still don't have a report im giving it till Friday. something is happening at school as he has become very verbal in the last few weeks. shouting etc and if i tell one of the others off he goes "yer do as you are told" and he is pinching,hitting pulling dds hair etc. i have asked him if anything is wrong but he says no. i cant push him to tell me cause then he starts telling porkies or extends the truth and i look the wally at school. got parents evening Wednesday so i will ask the teacher but hes as much help as a chocolate fireguard

oh yer and when he was in yr2 (now yr 5) his teacher told me she has him more than i do shes now on maternity leave with her 1st so watch this space
