  1. Well this would have been Connor's third week at his new school and woke up Monday morning with the most dreadful cold, he has spent the last couple of days in bed (totally unheard of) and is constantly sneezing and coughing. He's due back in School tomorrow (still on a 3 day week at the moment) but to honest I can't see that he'll be well enough, so will probably let him recover for the rest of the week and start back a fresh on Monday. The school have been lovely and he has had a email from his class teacher and the his year group everyday, keeping him informed of what has been going on and sending their get well wishes. The envitable has now happened I have gone down with the lergy and now DH has come home full of it and is as grumpy as hell he does not "do" being poorly and the way he is carrying on you'd think he had the flu .......so I am in for a jolly few days ......NOT !!!! To anyone else suffering, hugs all round and I hope you get better real soon. <'> <'> <'> <'> <'> <'> Clare x x x
  2. Connor is always sick if his temperature is not brought down and with tonsilitus the infection would create a temperature, What ever the illness my lad always tends to take longer than most to recover, but also tends to feel more pain than most (even the slightest scratch), which is a sensory issue with him either that or he just a drama Queen Hope Levi feels better soon, as that sounds a very nasty sore throat <'> Clare x x x
  3. Donna, I know its hard, but try to look at these meetings as positives, they are a result of your complaint (and rightly so) and are an opportunity to move things forward. I appreciate that Reece does not like the Health Centre, but at least perhaps it will prove to be an opportunity for him to display his behaviours etc.,, I realise its not pleasant for either of you, but hopefully in the long run it will give you the support and help you need. You have worked so hard and done lots of preparation for these meetings I am sure you are ready for what ever they throw at you. Good luck & lots of positive vibes for Thursday (tomorrow) <'> <'> <'> <'> <'> Clare x x x

    hair cutting help

Can totally empathise, DS hates having his hair cut too and has been a battle for many years. Earlier this year he let it grow, but as its very thick and curly got very unruly and almost had the appearance of dreadlocks (so I would highly recommend NOT letting it grow) it got so awful that in the end he let me cut it off with scissors. It really could do with a tidy up now but I have to chose my time carefully. Hope some other people come along with lots of good suggestions as I too will be following this thread ! Clare x x x
