Successful day out.

Recommended Posts

Haven't been posting much recently, but just wanted to post about a really good day out we all had on Friday. Jay seems to have been such hard work recently and he's quite difficult on days out generally, which makes us almost reluctant to go sometimes, although we keep trying. Had Grandma and Grandad to stay last weekend and he was quite hard work and grumpy and difficult, it's a bit like taking out a very big, clumsy toddler only you don't have the option of picking them up and sticking them in their buggy.

Annnnnnnnnnnyway, DH suggested we have a day out to Woburn Safari Park, just the three of us. Have to say, I was quite anxious about it and was predicting disaster, tbh. It's quite a long drive and the drive round the safari bit is about an hour, plus all the crowds and general stress of being 'out', etc. BUT, it was a really great day!! Jay loooooooooooooved it and was good as gold, we had such a good day out as a family and it's the first for a very, very long time really.

We're off to Norfolk for a week on Saturday and I was dreading it secretly, but am now feeling a bit more confident that it won't be too awful. :D

Cheers guys, knew you'd understand how special it is. >:D<<'>

Boating, BD?? Hahahaha. Er, no, no boating. We've a cottage with a stream in the grounds so Jay will probably spend most of his time up to his knees examining snails and suchlike. :D Oh, and there's a Sealife Aquarium nearby as well and beaches full of rocks to lift up and look underneath. I'm getting quite enthusiastic now.
