SensitiveSoul Report post Posted August 21, 2012 Fair enough. Here's another theme: I'm not sure I watched this one, but it seems more of a boys thing than a girls thing - better than care bears perhaps darkshine?
darkshine Report post Posted August 21, 2012 I love it too - not for 10 hours maybe - but I know it'd be alright for quite a while
SensitiveSoul Report post Posted August 21, 2012 (edited) Well I know how much A-S warrior like things on a loop, so when I saw that theme on a loop, I couldn't resist Edited August 21, 2012 by SensitiveSoul
SensitiveSoul Report post Posted August 21, 2012 I found another theme on a loop! Not a TV theme, the Mario theme!. It annoyed me completely after 30 seconds! Much as I loved the games when I was younger, I couldn't listen to that theme tune for very long!
SensitiveSoul Report post Posted August 21, 2012 I found another theme on a loop! Not a TV theme, the Mario theme! I stand corrected - there was a Mario TV show apparently!
darkshine Report post Posted August 21, 2012 I once saw a great clip where they'd made all the Mario game noises fit into a Queen song It's kinda cool yet annoying all at the same time (I think so anyway)
darkshine Report post Posted August 21, 2012 I stand corrected - there was a Mario TV show apparently! And a film

SensitiveSoul Report post Posted August 21, 2012 Came across this earlier: Does anyone else remember it???
darkshine Report post Posted August 21, 2012 Also, you could technically use a game theme if you wanted... or a theme tune from anything... this started with me liking the Tour de France tune lol, and we quickly went through a lot of other sport ones, movies, tv programmes, and then we started letting our inner child out and it's been pretty fun - but I still don't mind what people put here - whatever floats your boat (I do enjoy the cartoon ones best though)
darkshine Report post Posted August 21, 2012 (edited) I think it's mainly me who remembers all these a lot of these lol Edited August 21, 2012 by darkshine

darkshine Report post Posted August 24, 2012 (edited) Hey, it wasn't too much, I've been busy lol I didn't watch that one but I remember one of the characters - dunno what it was called but my sister had the soft toys and this particular one was brown and hairy and had a giant nose and my sister used to call my dad by the same name - it always made me laugh Edited August 24, 2012 by darkshine
robertmannma Report post Posted August 24, 2012 (edited) I would like to contribute the theme tunes to some of the shows from my childhood. 1) Zzzap http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp5XI8dA9As 2) Penny Crayon Edited August 24, 2012 by robertmannma
SensitiveSoul Report post Posted August 24, 2012 We already had Penny Crayon earlier in the thread. I hate zzzap with a passion!! Why did you have to subject us to that

darkshine Report post Posted August 25, 2012 No it was a baddy I think - dunno if it was even from that, she just used to have the other doll thing sitting in front - I'll go look online and see cuz I haven't got a clue what any of the characters were called... By the way - I cannot believe I actually just spent a few minutes looking that up It was called lurky - if you google it with the title of the show you'll see what I mean - definitely brown hairy and with a big nose lol On a separate note - I didn't mind the sooty show - but it was one of those shows I could only watch so many times before needing a break from it... is it just me or did it seem to go on for a number of years? Here's something random

robertmannma Report post Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) Here are the themes for a couple more shows from my childhood: 5) Thomas the Tank Engine 6) Huxley Pig Edited August 25, 2012 by robertmannma
SensitiveSoul Report post Posted August 25, 2012 We've had Thomas too - right on the first page. Huxley Pig is a new on though and one I don't remember. On a separate note - I didn't mind the sooty show - but it was one of those shows I could only watch so many times before needing a break from it... is it just me or did it seem to go on for a number of years? The Sooty show went on forever - literally! It ran from 1955 - 1992 in total apparently, switching from BBC to ITV at some point! I remember Hart Beat!! I'd forgotten about that one! I used to love art/craft type programmes. Here's a couple more I remember: Art attck - which I'm sure somebody has mentioned somewhere: Bitsa (Unfortunately I couldn't find just the theme tune so it's part of an episode!):
robertmannma Report post Posted August 25, 2012 Okay, I really need to take another look through the thread if I missed that that one was already posted.
robertmannma Report post Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) Okay, I've done a search and can't see these ones posted already: 7) Rupert http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdZfFqoP2U8 8) Pingu Edited August 25, 2012 by robertmannma
SensitiveSoul Report post Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) 7) Rupert I loved Rupert! I had 3 videos full of Rupert episodes that my mum taped from the TV! Edited August 25, 2012 by SensitiveSoul
robertmannma Report post Posted August 25, 2012 Rupert was a personal favourite of my mom. I really liked it too. Not much of a fan of the new version though.
robertmannma Report post Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) Here's a couple more. Don't ask me why but there was always something about these shows that I didn't quite like. The latter in particlar I found to be rather depressing. 9) The Queen's Nose 10) The Animals of Farthing Wood Edited August 25, 2012 by robertmannma
darkshine Report post Posted August 25, 2012 Is it sad that I remember all of those (apart from bitsa)? I thought the Farthing Wood thing was depressing too I still watched it but only the first series, it went of on a tack with some of the other animals I think... Art attack was interesting but the guy really annoyed me at times with how he'd really drag out what he was showing you - I liked the massive pictures though that he made out of all kinds of items, they were kinda cool. Pingu was mentioned before, but I think everyone should mention it at least 3 times at some point, cuz I love how I understand it when nobody even uses words
