Most annoying programme ever! Annoying theme, annoying presenter, annoying contestants - if you watch their intro videos you can tell they're so set up! Hated this programme with a passion!

I actually owe Grange Hill for my Asperger's diagnosis. My sister saw a character on the show who was portrayed as having it and immediately recognised the traits as being the same seen within myself. It was quite a task to actually get the diagnosis officially but without that show I'm not sure it would have even got picked up on at all.

Maybe not the best record ever made but suspect the intetions were well placed, if not too effective. Can't remeber seeing a massive reduction in drug use following its release.

Wow, this thread has really gone dead. I thought I would try steering it in a different direction, perhaps by moving away from the children's TV show themes.

 

I thought I would post the themes to one of my all time favourite television shows, one that ran for five years and had a different theme for each of them. That show is Babylon 5.

I must admit I was more of a Star Trek girl. Star Trek in its various incarnations was the highlight of our week for ages (although we never quite got into Deep Space Nine). I'm not sure which was my favourite theme music of the various series, though. I liked the footage of Neil Armstrong on the Enterprise one, I liked the meteor belt on the Voyager one, and I liked Patrick Stewart's monologue on the Next Generation.

I am a pretty big Star Trek fan as well although I came to it a lot later and I would say that Deep Space Nine was probably my favourite of the lot. At the risk of being a big controversial I think the original series and The Next Generation were my least favourite incarnations. I much preferred Voyager and I was also particularly into Enterprise, particularly during its latter two seasons. As for the themes rather than the shows as a whole I would probably say that my favourite was Voyager, followed by Deep Space Nine then Enterprise followed by The Next Generation and finally the original series.

See, I find it hard not to be loyal to The Next Generation because it's the one my husband and I would watch together religiously when we first got married. I think, overall, Voyager was my favourite series, but it's very hard to choose between Voyager and Next Generation. Do you have an all-time favourite character ( a bit off-topic here )?

Having watched your clips, I'm going to have to say that the Next Generation theme music was my favourite. But Voyager comes in at second.
