I wouldn't worry too much about it, I hate long sleeves but will wear a coat if its really cold, hate jumpers. I also prefer to be cool, my room is like 'antartica' or 'siberia' my mum says and tells me if i want my room that cold i must close the door as its making the house cold haha. (i have the heater off and the window open all year round and a light weight duvet too) I have been known to go ski-ing with no jacket, just a t-shirt. i wld go with the suggestion of a gillet if he will wear one and ur worried about him being cold.

going with bare feet is fine at home though! Only a problem when going out, unless you don't feel the cold too much and can cope with bare feet all year! (with sandals or flipflops of course) no socks and trainers is not nice! LOL

my mind goes blank when i try to write a poem about being happy! LOL

I came across these i wrote a few years ago. Thought i wld post them here tho not sure that they are very cheerful! I am more content with things as they are now, so don't worry about some of them seeming a bit lonely. Friends If friends are so important, Why do I have none? What is it that they do not like? Is it something I have done? I'm not a nasty person, I do not tell a lie, I'm always kind and caring. So please explain why? No one wants to know me, No one even cares. When friends get together, I am never their. They do not know how I feel, When I see friends having fun. I wish I could join in with them And not be the only one. Sitting on my own, Not knowing what to do. Always feeling lonely, I want a friend like you! Friends What's the point in living When u have no friends No one there to talk to Pick you up when your feeling down No one to share your thoughts with No one to have around. Why do people laugh When I say I have no friends Is it my fault that I'm different That my friendship always ends? People do not realize How hurtful words can be. I guess I take too much to heart That's just me being me. I wish that I could have one friend To share good times and bad Some one to have a laugh with To be with when I am sad. When someone says hello to me It really makes my day. A simple smile and how are you? Really means a lot Always do your best To keep the friends you've got. Me You do not like the way I act, and the strange things that I do. You tell me not to act so weird, But what else can I do? You do not like when I don't talk And make u feel uneasy. No interest in what u have to say, or in anything you do? When I leave a message I always wander why They never seem to bother To take time to reply. I know that they are busy, They've got lives of their own, But no one has the time for me I am forever on my own. Imagine? Imagine I went out one day, And met a friend of mine, Shouting hello how are you? Not a worry in my mind. Knowing exactly what to say, And how I am meant to act. Interacting easily Enjoying a proper chat! Imagine all the fun My friend and I would have. A day of chat and laughter With no one feeling sad. We would walk along the street, Chatting on the way, Then we?d stop and have some lunch. Oh what a lovely day! sorry i am not very imaginitive when it comes to titles! they are cr@p really but i am bored and looking thru old stuff on my PC!

well socks are not all that expensive, and it is a GOOD idea to have more than 5 pairs of school socks for when some go missing. Also when u find socks he will wear and he feels comfortable in thats great!

I am not really sure on how to 'fight' to get the correct placement for your son. Though i do think its silly to have an EBD and ASD specific school. As they each have very different needs, most ASD children would have difficulties and problems sharing a school with EBD children. I really hope that you manage to get him into another school. If you are trying to prove its the 'wrong' place for him by logging all his assaults, is it worth saying if his work has sufferd as a result, and his anxieties etc.

Well i have never had a bf so won't b great with advice. It is really good that you are thinking and worrying about your son, and are their to support him whatever decision he makes. I would not be overly nice to her and think its best to be polite to her for your son's sake. Is this his first relationship? He will probably still be getting used to how relationships work, and will be more willing to tolorate her behaviour. Hopefully they will go their seprate ways before long, and ur son may find the right person for him. I think you are handeling things really well at the moment.
