Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry this happened. Maybe you're right though? Maybe now people will listen and Kai will get the help he deserves. What did SS say? Did they offer any support? Any respite?

Bim sleep walks often. He's a lot better and more secure when he has his bed set on. He has one of those Grobag my first duvet sets and it's done wonders for him! I must get another as I'm not always able to dry it and get it back in his bed straight away. Especially at times when he wets the bed.

I've almost finished Notes From An Exhibition by Patrick Gale. It took some getting in to, but I like it now.

I'm so sorry. I was dreading hearing something like this I hope you can keep him comfortable. In experience, my cats have let me know when it's time It doesn't make it any easier though. ((hugs))

Bim is the same with his bedding. We bought him one of those grobag my first duvet sets. Brilliant idea! The bedding actually stays on him now and as a result, he sleeps better. I think it keeps him in bed too because he doesn't sleepwalk so much.

My cat had an overactive thyroid. He'd eat - a lot, sleep and do his toilets. His poos were very runny and barely digested. He did have a thinning coat, but not a distended abdomen. Poor little furry boy

I reward my children for honesty. I find peer pressure helps an awful lot. I'd write more, but I have to get off here now. I do know how you feel . It's awful

Try not to worry about your allotted time being used up. Last week, I went to see the dr. Asked her to put my allergy meds on repeat prescription and was out of the surgery in less than 2 minutes. Lots of people only need quickie appointments like this, so they end up freeing time up for you to get the proper attention you need for your appointment! I do think a written, or typed sheet is a good way to go. Your doctor will probably prefer this too

We go to the same lady in our local small Clarks every time. She's lovely with all of my children.

The driver sounds like a decent bloke. Have you thought about taking your lad to get a card to write and give to the driver? It'd possibly benefit both your son and the driver and will initiate a conversation between you and the driver.

I would go into school and arrange a meeting with the head if this was my family. Even just being as visible as I am, helps. I'm sorry you are dealing with this rubbish. You need to put an end to it.

I shot myself in the foot here. We had a hell of a morning today! Bloomin' typical!

I phone Daddy at work and tell him of Bim's success, then when we get to school, I tell his teacher too. Daddy brings back a paperclip from work - current obsession and Bim's teacher tells him to put a marble in the class jar It's working for now.

Bim's case worker (CPN) and her student came out this morning, to talk about behaviour modification techniques. We had a good discussion and I pressed the point that it's Bim's impulsiveness that we feel unable to deal with. She said she'd speak to the dr (consultant psychiatrist) about it, but I didn't ask what she expected the dr to say or do. Does anyone know why she's wanting to talk to the dr? She did mention points of ADHD, so is she thinking he may need to get reassessed for that? Or could she be thinking of medication? I'm confused. Can anybody offer any advice?

Does anyone else feel the need to drag and highlight black text on white backgrounds? My eyes go funny if I don't. I know. I'm weird.
