If it is truly empty then it is beyond comprehension and by understanding it we are assigning concepts and ideas to the (nothingness) emptiness making it something - so maybe it was never empty to begin with so the question is nt why is it empty . The question is what is fit (the substance) that makes it appear empty and is the human concept of emptiness just that a concept that we see as the substance of nothingness but yet still a substance which ironically maes our ideas of nothingness ...
