I honestly don't know what to say to that. I just feel sad.
-
Hi. You're definitely not alone.
-
Hello. I've nothing helpful to say I'm afraid, but I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time of it (((hugs))).
-
My son gets five hours a week. Which is better than the 'none at all' that we were originally told to expect, I suppose. I hope you get what you need.

My son squeaks endlessly. He's now got a social story about it which has helped a wee bit (it's slightly less frequent now). The holidays are great, for us they're a relief - some respite from school which is stressful for him.
-
Hi Abby, nice to meet you.
-
Luca, I'm really sorry. It sounds as if you've had an awful time of it. I haven't any advice to offer, just a (cyber) hug.
-
That's good news - lots of luck to you.
-
Aww. That boy is so much like my son!
-
Best of luck to you.

I've been there so many times...
-
There have been a few over the years. Currently it's squeaking every two or three seconds. Drives me nuts. He's been given a social story about it, and that seems to have reduced it a little.

We have a special needs dentist, and they're amazing. It took a long time to get on to their books, but it was worth it. We've yet to go through anything other than a check-up or fissure seal, though - my son is obsessive about brushing his teeth because he's terrified of the noise that drills make.
-
Good luck to you both. We're lucky, maybe - my son didn't start primary school until he was five, so he has another two years to go.
-
No, they decided not to, I think because so many people would find it intrusive. Or would be afraid to answer.
-
Mine had that too. I was really pleased to find a question about being a carer, and then that one which I filled out on my son's behalf.
-
Hi there. No, I imagine you're not! Best of luck to you and your son, I hope it goes well.
-
Hi. Thank you very much. High school...I'm trying not to think about it!
-
Hi Robert. I'm in Edinburgh. Nice to meet you.

I'm Julie (Aine is my middle name). I live in Edinburgh with my ten-year-old son, who's autistic. He just went into mainstream last August and is being bullied, so we're both pretty miserable just now. Looking forward to getting to know you all, though.
