  4. I haven't watched Dark Star for yonks - got it on video in the loft somewhere. Guess that means you guys won't be into Bad Taste or Revenge of the Killer Tomatoes (more movies I haven't seen for ages). I do like a budget movie at times TheNeil - any clues on this one, as it seems to be stumping us all "If she looks back, it means she's interested. Come on, give me a look back now. Just give me that smug expression and be on your way." KW
  5. Happy Birthday Hope you've had a great day KW
  6. Oh yes, I always long to have normal shopping trips with my Son. Reality is, that I or hubby, goes shopping alone most of the time. When we do go as a family it is usually a commando style mission, where we are in and out of the shop before L can throw a strop. I would also like to go for a meal in a restaurant and not have to get take aways or avoid eating out. I too forget sometimes, usually when we go somewhere that I haven't been to for a while or there are new shops. I think 'I would like to look in those shops' and hubby will sometimes say okay, and sometimes he will remind how much of a nightmare it will be if we do go in. I sit and lament the lack of normalcy quite frequently - but I don't see any change on the horizon, so just have to get on as best I can. I am with you on this one KW
  7. Hubby found this very interesting, and felt he may be a bit of an old school IT person himself. What with that confession, and my belief that I may be on the spectrum, it is not surprising that our little legs is not NT. KW
  8. Oh Congratulations Enjoy yourself KW
  9. How freaky!! It's a place name I remember hearing as a child and not since - looked at the Daily Mail online and there it is KW
  10. Hmm - we have buzz lightyear/nemo/any animal from over the hedge/r2-d2/or any other character L cares to choose. If we call him by his name he says "no, not L . I am ...." and you have to call him by that name or he gets quite irate. However, this does not last long - usually mins - someimes an hour or so. He never carries it on for as long as you describe. He also pretends to be a dog, but from what I understand it is a bit of a game at his nursery and again doesn't last long. Sorry I am not much help, but have some sympathy for you as it can be highly frustrating. KW
  11. Sorry keyholekate - never been - just remember it cos it is a weird name - here's a link http://www.wookey.co.uk/welcome.htm KW

  13. Hey Baddad, think you might be referring to Dark Star - which I would call a 'so bad it's good' film KW
  14. Waccoe it is an opening line to a song - by Oliver. Which for some reason my Son picked up on and called out one morning from his bed He can be cute sometimes!! Clue: Kids film - remake. KW
  15. Think it might be Bladerunner ? If I am right here goes: "Good morning starshine, the Earth says hello!" KW
  16. Hi, I have not been offered CBT for my Son, but have had some for myself. I suffer long term bouts of depression and anxiety. I found it quite useful (although this was done through a computer programme and not a face to face with a human) in helping me to change the way I think. I would say that it is worth trying and if taken on board can be very helpful. KW
