my ds goes 2 mainstream,on school action plus has 1;1 every morning ,small group session every afternoon also izzywizzy club 4 gross/fine motor skills.

if any one wants to pm i can email them a guide on how to fill them in,which they can print out but i warn you its long.

yep thats my ds,today he wouldnt move just sat on the ground and kept repaeting saything about his float i brought hima few wks back.whatever i replied it was the wrong answer after 45 mins he decided to get up.my fatel mistake was not to take his buggy up to the sch with me.

hiya,with mine i made sure i made copies of all reports to do with my ds from when he was two to the present day.this made sure they were not having to wait about and also gave them the chance to read about his difficulties throughout the years. i then took my sons to the school to have a look round and meet the teachers and they were told what was expected of them etc.it was the best decision i made for them.they have bent over backwards to help my ds and welcome any helpful suggestions i make.it helped the hd was a previous hd of a sen school.they settled in well and any problems that have arisen we have overcome together.

i think it depends what area you are in,but certainly think the gov havent put all measures to support inclusion in place properly for both parent,child and teacher as well as the average mainstream child. it should be compulsary for all senco to be qualified in this feild that is for sure and all training to be updated every two years.

hiya cant give you much info but i do recall a post on here about three weeks back asking same thing and the reply was yes.so you may have to do a search on he relating to it.hope tha helps.

thanks nellie ive printed off a copy and sending with my reply letter to councellor(see education section),im also compiling a letter to the secretary of state for education as i feel this should be addressed. i feel all sencos should be qualified in the sen sector to be able to address our childrens educational needs and only then fill out these DWP forms . ds nows receives the education he needs whilst in mainstream by a qualified senco in his new sch but i feel there are other children in previous sch that needs someone to help address their concerns on their behalf.

Dear Mrs *******, You will recall that i siad i would take your concerns about the SENCO situation at ***** **** to the senior special needs officer at ******* hall. We are told again that ADHD/ASD are medical conditions and it is not expected tht teachers should be able to recognise the condition,though some obviously can. I asked too about qualifications requiredof a SENCO an in realty it is quite possible for a school to appoint someone with no specail needs skills. Which appears to be what happens at **** ****.It is worth notng that ***** **** has the second lowest percentage of sen children of any primary school in the area.******* ***** has four times as many and that is no doubt why that school is more adept at noting conditions such as ADHD. I have made it clear now at two levels that teachers that do not have the background to complete DWP forms should not do so. I realise you may not have got an outcome out of this such as might satisfy you. However,whilst the LEA at both area and head office level may have held te offical line,i have no doubt that our points will have been noted. Very best wishes. ******* ********* and copy to mp I am also going to write to the secretary of state for education etc as i feel if they want to include childen into mainstream at least have the relevant peolpe with the proper qualifications in that feild to be able to impletment the correct provisions.

it is pouring wth rain and on the walk home my ds is not hapy because where we pass under a train bridge normally a train will be going across but today there wasnt one,so he has gone in2 meltdown mode.i didnt take his buggy today but wish i had.ive tried to explain that i had no control over it but still he is not at all happy.

to burn cds etc you need nero and to watch dvds you need something like power dvd.if that also helps.

hiya, a friend of mine told me recently that you can reapply about the low,middle or high.ive got low for my son which im in the middle of appealing against and got nothing for mobilty and if this fails i will then reapply in which the kent autistic trust will help me with the forms(they also coiming with me to the appeal) so you can reapply even though you have been awarded it and can do so has many times you as like.keep a diary and send it to them as well , good luck
