We used to have a pond Full of fish, we just put six in but they were v. passionate and the pond was full up in a couple of years. Then one year a grey dart of a heron paid us a visit, every day. He was so zen that I couldn't chase him away! When all the fish had gone the newts, frogs and toads moved in. It was fab. By the way the rain/hail we had here in london was amazing! I wish Id got the 'lost loads of weight' symptom. I had a really OVER active thyroid ...but PUT ON three stones!!! No fair..rare but happens! Had a totalthyroidectomy at 32 and been on the tablets ever since. Some doctors find it hard to diagnose, told me I had a virus for two years straight! Good luck! <'> Redberry

my son 8 dx of as spent an hour or more hobbling around on a broken foot. The school only phoned when it had swollen really badly and he was crying (very rare at school). I was so so mad. He doesnt go to that school anymore redberry

Bloomin south east Londons almost tropical compared to the wicked weather some of you lucky lot are enjoying I WISH it would snow. I love IT My kids have grown to dread it, cos I wake them up v. early (sometimes) and make them put their wellies on and coats over pjs so we can go out and PLAY in the snow! Daughter is 19 now and has threatened to leave home if I do it to her this year tho. Son is only 8 so he doesn't mind so much! redberry
