thanks mumble he does'nt attend assembly as they found it stressed him to much because of the noise the school bell going off has him putting his hands over his ears , apart from the music lessons if anything sets him off his TA removes him from the cause so not sure why there not with music , he likes some musical instruments as we brought him a triangle and tamberine and he loves them , just finds loud people to much i.e if hubby raises his voice he very quickly gets upset hands over ears

thanks ladies his support not sure where she is when music's on but i think i do need to talk to is music teacher he's been rather unhappy tonight and does'nt want to go back to school , which will take weeks to get him settled back down , i am going to talk to teachers though and get his support to explain to his music teacher thanks again

K has ASD and has 1 on 1 support now on thursdays they have a male music teacher come into lesson for music and every thursday K comes out of school stressed and upset ( i know its cause of the music lesson) now today he had music and all kids were singing and K started crying saying HURT MY EARS !!! the teacher shouted at him to stop it ( he told me K was upset about the kids singing but he did'nt tell me he shouted at him ) and my gawd he came out of school heart broke crying and ( i call it frothing ) from mouth , loads of spit then spat it all over his coat , which he then got upset cause his coat got dirty , i'm thinking of asking them to withdraw him from music class but how do i stand with this one , he has a statement for class and dinner and breaks and is in mainstream school thanks in advance

thanks all , think maybe its a clothes thing roll on summer when shorts are ok

K is 6 and ASD now for last 3 months or so everytime i get him dressed i get tears and total heart broken little boy as he does'nt want to leave the house ( might add though he's fine once out) but we both end up getting so upset cause he's so heart broke that i end up upset , Is there anyway to make it easyier please ,i'v explained whats happening where and who we are going with but the minute i get the clothes its starts thanks

Hi K started nursey and struggled so i took him out but ed phy and specialist had already got involved , so he was back in nursey slowly for 30 minutes then 40 etc untill he was in full time by time he was settled into nursey he had a TA there and then ready for school he had his statement for a TA for class and break times and dinner , he did start school p-t for 12 months as he was'nt ready and even now the school say if things get to much then he can go in later leave earlyier , he's in year 2 so been a slow process , i too would request a assesement from the LEA yourself good luck

mm they said same about lewis when he was born i asked them to double check all his lovely clothes were pink

Yes i worry like mad only 2 places K(he's 6) goes without me is too school (and even then i watched him with his support for first few months) and his dads , his sister who's 19 wants to take him park tomorrow and even though i trust her i'm in 2 minds whether to let her , what if she answers her phone and takes her eyes off him etc , so K spends all his time with me L on other hand(he's 15) i let him play football with his brother who's NT and nearly 17 but i look over fence and can see them , sounds really over protective but i worry people won't cope or won't understand them or even not watch them properly

apart from tell tale signs being sick having runs having a temp how are we to know if kids are ill , if there non verbal or limited speech , kurtis was ill yesterday i did'nt know , he just cryed and cryed he would'nt eat or drink then is temp went up so knew then but felt a bad mum for sending him to school yesterday as i did'nt know he was ill , his TA put in his book he was quiet and down but still feel bad

woo-hoo nipped on scales this morning and lost another 2lbs since saturday now lost 8 stone 2 lbs which in lbs is 114 lbs since last year tryed my jeans on again and there not as tight said to mark a week or 2 will be wearing them
