Hi Thought it might be worth giving it a try to see if anyone knows anything about PS3 s. Kierans got a Ps3 now he doesnt play it as often as his xbox 360 but he played on it wednesday morning and when he went back to it wednesday afternoon all he got was a blue screen asn a message saying hard drive bring rebuilt press ps button but nothing happened just returned to the same message,and of course he wants it fixed like yesterday and it is only 5 months old, we can take it back to the shop but i want to check ideas first in case it is something totally minor and dont feel like a complete idiot if they ask have we tried this have we tried that.So any ideas will be gratefully recieved

aw bid she is so sweet .Since my neighbour ran my cat over and killed her ive been fighting the urge to have another ,only the other day there were some in our local paper desperately needing homes but i was good and i resisted temptation.But i think its not fair to inflict my stupid dog on some poor unprepared kitten and plus when i came here i had 4 cats and now i havent any, one moved in with an old couple around the corner, one got shot with a pellet gun which cost me �125 at the vets and disappeared after 2 days the other one we think was dead under our shed and the last one got run over by my neighbours 4 x 4 so maybe its not such a good idea.

The only place we have for Dvd rental now is our library,there used to be loads of places but theyve all shut down.we even used to rent dvd s at the shop i work but they did away with them as well i think in that instance they were losing more dvds and having to pay loss fees than they we re making on the rentals.

Kieran is 22 (as) and his borther is 19 and they fall out something cronic yet other times they get on fine.The usual arguments are over the fact that kierans always got to be right and j wont let him if he knows he s wrong.

I always cut Kierans hair myself with one of them hair cutting things theres no way he would go to either the barbers or hairdressers and i always leave it to him to tell me when he wants it cutting he doesnt like it gettting to long

The only answer to that i can give from my own experience with kieran you dont!He doesnt understand hurry, like on Tuesday he was going out which is very rare and dh was at work later so he wanted to set off k had been deliberating for two hours wether to go out or not ,yes he will right , im not going like this i need to get changed first, ok changed ,then he puts his xbox on and starts playing that.lol bless

You could be describing kieran to a T.I myself do like top gear but after the 1000th repeat it becomes a bit tedious, he just loves the challenges that they do as well.

Been there, i even had an headteacher of the special school he attended( which also as a special Autistic unit) tell me when i aired my concerns when he was thirteen, he s fine he s just a teenager.So i waited another 3 years before persuing it untill dx at 18

whoooooo keep fingers crossed when i put siad xbox 360 on yesterday for my daily Guitar Hero 3 fix we got the red lights of death Doh! but it seemed ok but its started crashing a lot and it did that last time it bust.Ive lost count of the times ive trawled through various record shops and sites for music tracks off his beloved xbox games usually racing,i wouldnt mind but he usually has to buy the whole album but only listens to one track somebody should make game track compilation albums lol.would save him a fortune but theyd always be one that was missing for him im sure

Kieran is exactly the same he lives and breathes his games consoles xbox 360 ,plastation 3, psp and ds and he fluttuatess from them all during the day otherwise its repeats of top gear or puts his football or btcc dvds on these things are his world thats all his day conssits of he s 22 but i could never take these away from him because he hasnt anything else he likes doing,i must admit i limited him to use of the computer because some of the sites he was going on but as he s got internet on his ps2 i cant really police that but again its not because he s not of and age to look at some of these sites just the fact that he does and he is imature for his years

Ive lawys watched eurovision for years in some guise either the whole thing for a laugh or just the voting and not forgetting Terry wogans witty comments but it is getting to political nowadays neighbours voting for neighbours etc and i though ours was quite good not as eurovision cheesy as in pat years and some of the others were good but i didnt hear the winning entry.

I find the best way to cope is to just leave him to calm down himself he is 22,things do usually get damaged though but as long as he isnt in any danger i can live with that and the plus is its usually his own stuff he breaks but have got a few punch holes in the doors and walls before today ,but dh cant just leave it he always trys to calm the situation but that just makes him worse we as parents know when to say nothing but unfortunately he doesnt and also he will say things that arent true just to wind him up which annoys me and then its an all out argument, the times ive told him about this.

I must say kieran usually knows what he wants to buy when it comes to presents for me dh and his brothers but on the other hand he is very funny when it comes to getting presents the times ive had to apologise to people when he s just come out with"what do i want that for" it so embarrassing, so at xmas to try and get things right i usually get him stuff related to his latest obsession which mostly works well.But if i asked him what i could get so and so for their birthday/xmas he d just say you should know lol.And from being little he doesnt do clothes for xmas or birthdays either he absolutely hates it probably because he has a favourite selection of clothes that he wants to wear not wahta anyone else wants him to and that includes me as well he is terrible he d rather have his clothes hanging off than het new ones.

<'> <'> <'> Sorry ive no positives here sadly like some have already mentioned of their experiences Kieran hasnt seen anyone since he was singned of from cahms and he s 22 next week,I was told that the services for over 18 s in our area are few and far between but the problem that i have is even if the services wheer there theres no way kieran would take them up as ive posted before he very rarely leaves the confines of these four walls, we even tried making him but looking back now that hasnt done us any favours so much for the"get him out there in the wide world im sorry but its easier said than done.Hope you get somewhere <'> <'> <'>

I have moved loads of times and the advice that someone gave if you dont use it in the frist 3 years you dont need it is great advice .we put stuff in a outhouse the day we moved in and havent used it since and weve been here 10 years come next january so i think i better put into practice what they have said plus the lads are 10 years older and its mainly toys and stuff so on a nice day out it all goes be it to the tip or the charity shop.My sister when she moved she was really ruthless anything she didnt need she got rid of i tend to keep stuff for sentimental value.i was in the cupboard in my room last night and theres two typewriters in there one that my parents bought me for xmas when i was 13 and an electric one my son and his friend bought me for my 40th birthday but with computers do i really need to keep them yes lol see sentimental value

Hi This is going to be no help to you whatsoever....my kieran is 22 and he is exactly the same he will not leave the house unless its on his terms if he fancys a trip into town on pay day but again that is getting less and less frequent he also like your kieran lives for his games either his xbox 360 or his ps3 we tried taking things away to coax him into doing something else like going out but it didnt bother him in the slightest he just found something else to do watch a dvd etc and you cant remove everything.Ive got to the point where i dont try anymore causes to many uneccesary meltdown so he is quite happy within his four walls but it does make family visiting etc a bit hard but having tow brothers at home there is always someone to leave him with.Someone may have some ideas especially with your kieran being so young as the saying cant teach an old dog new tricks springs to mind with kieran and especially as he wasnt diagnosed untill he was nearly 18.Hope someone as got some advice for you but we just plod along wrong be it or not what kieran says kieran does or doesnt do.

Hi Kieran is 22 at the end of the month and he has just bought all the FIF flowertots DVDs and the talking flower tots t fifi it is sweet but it makes me sad in some sense that he takes great delight from these things and thomas the tank engine i dont think he ll ever let that go.he pointed out to me the other day that you can get fifi bed set i think i ll draw the line at that one awwwwww.

Kieran was statemented with learning disabilities at 9 but he was referred to cahms when he was 16 1/2 and he was diagnosed a month before his 18th birthday

Hi Hev I used to be a member of it and if i remember rightly i had an invite to join but i found it so hard to work out with all these invites to join stuff and the pokes sent and so on i ended up closing mine it is popular though with a lot of people some frefering it to my space but my space is simple enough for me lol.Hope someone else can give you a better insight to it because it just confused me but then again that doesnt take much
