  2. Thanks Flora. Have a feeling we are going to be exhausted afterwards! Any idea how long it will take to hear the conclusions? I do know that we won't get a definite diagnosis from just the assesment but wondered if they would say maybe or def not that day.
  3. got the appointment through for the ados assesment on the 4th of july, have been told that it will be a 3 hour appointment Think my brain will have turned to mush by then, never mind hers!! the letter stated that the appointment is for both of us to attend so it looks as though I will be there at the same time. I always am there with her for the 'normal' appointments with the pysc, so they must have their reasons i suppose! Could be interesting as she will probably be on top form with a new doc and a different room! She always gets really hyper as soon as we go into CAMHS so at least they will see her at her 'worst'!
  4. Just remembered to update this! when my dd heard that I had asked if she could be excused from the test she was really upset and said it would make everyone talk about her! So she went in and did the test on thursday. i asked her how it went when she came home and she said oh it was easy Mum, don't know what all the fuss was about!!! Kids honestly, sometimes can't do right for doing wrong as a mum eh?
  5. Ooh heaven! hope you have a great day, make the most of it!
  6. my daughter never seems to know if she is hungry or thirsty and has to be reminded all the time to have something to eat or drink. She doesn't have any problems re the toilet but if she is heading for a bad episode she becomes very phobic over germs and bare feet!!

    hi

<'> Take care, lya and thanks for everything while I've been here. Will miss you
  9. We love the holidays too, for the same reasons. Happier less stressed kid with any problems being dealt with at the time instead of several hours later when she gets home from school. The first couple of days are usually stressful as the routine hes changed, but after that its like having a different kid at home. Bliss! Love the 6 weeks summer hols best as she is so chilled out!
