Guest Lya of the Nox Report post Posted March 2, 2008 Just make sure you don't wear them inside out! After a largely pants day, involving an unfortunate highlighting incident at the hairdressers and breaking one of my just-arrived-from-ebay spanish house number tiles , I finally found the perfect wallpaper for the chimney breast in the sitting room in the new house!! It's soooo garjuss (cream with a gold design) and will lend itself to the judicious addition of stick-on gems if I feel the need http://www.focusdiy.co.uk/invt/210147 Boho that the wallpaper i think meggz is having in her room so you are both in good company xxx

We have laminate flooring in our livingroom/kitchen. There used to be half and half, the floral carpet was horrible and used to make me feel sick. Bagpuss Report post Posted March 7, 2008 Laminate flooring is evil............evil I tell you! One of things I loved about our house when we viewed it, was the flooring, lovely gorgeous laminate, all downstairs, and in some of the bedrooms too. I have never cleaned so much in my life, big balls of dust, mushed up with piggie poo and sawdust, all over the place. Every day I have to sweep, and then mop Never again Although it is verrrrry clean and mark free, years later, so I suppose it lasts if nowt else. Bagpuss Report post Posted March 8, 2008 Scrap me positive.......youngest DD is so volatile today, and is threatening to run away. I've locked the door and hid the key. She keeps growling like a dog DS wanted to cook himself a jacket potato...so I told him to make sure he put kitchen roll underneath it. After he'd finished cooking it in the microwave, he said "Did you say put a tea towel underneath it?" It's burnt He has also left his bedroom window open this morning, in the strong winds we have, and a signed M'bro picture has fallen off his window sill and smashed. Then I went into the bathroom, and he's managed to bleach me best towels, by not washing his face properly after using his acne treatment I've had enough....I've off to the Give Us a Hug thread.....or mebbees the Arrgghhh thread....infact b*ggar the hugs, just give me chocolate

bikergal Report post Posted March 10, 2008 Took dd2 to the O2 on Fri to see Rihanna only bad thing was we were only a couple of rows from the back on level 4,ie almost in the roof! We were terrified and held on to our seats the whole time! I'm not good with heights. David Jordan was the support act and was great Took dd1 to Crufts yesterday, was a very long day and we both had separate meltdowns, but I eventually got out of mine because I knew dd1 needed me too. Dd1 loved seeing all the different dogs especially the Borzoi's which are her current favourite.

Bard Report post Posted March 14, 2008 10 days later, and my dad's out of hospital...until the next time something on his knackered old body breaks down. G made him a Monty Python cake with " I'm Not Dead Yet " written on it as a belated birthday celebration. He was too exhausted to laugh, but he did grin a bit.
