Dunno if this is the one you were on about but it's good - takes a while to do though

http://uk.tickle.com/test/iq/start.html

This is what it said about me:

Your IQ score is 124!

You are gifted with the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind. Insightful linguists can take complex concepts and articulate them to just about anyone. You have a gift with words and an insight into processes and the way people think.

These talents enable you to explain things clearly to people as you can conceptualise ideas internally and understand patterns on an abstract level.

Which just about describes me perfectly because I'm a journalist and PR writer! :)

Don't worry about the bit where it asks you to pay if you click on "free result" bit you get the info above. And let's face it - all we need is the basic score!

:blink: Erm..... i'm hopeless at maths......... :lol:

Your IQ score is 124!

You have a strong ability to process visual-spatial and mathematical information and this, combined with your logical mind, means you are a Visual Mathematician. You can manipulate multiple parts of the picture (or problem) to come up with a solution and can understand the "big picture," which is partly why people may turn to you for direction.

Like Einstein, your ability to detect patterns and your skills in maths and logic, make it natural for you to come up with ideas and theories that simplify processes for everyone.

Your IQ score is 124!

You've got a very experiential way of learning and a strong mathematical mind and you have mastered the art and science of precision. That's what makes you a Precision Processor. For you, life is a series of equations.

Your brain is naturally predisposed to intense mathematical acuity, so it's second nature for you to cut to the heart of an issue, to discover quick solutions while others get bogged down in unnecessary details. This allows you to communicate a variety of ideas to other people, so don't keep it to yourself.

Odd how we're all getting the same?

Hmmmmm, my massive brain thinks perhaps there's something fishy here - all 124!

Either that or we're all candidates for MENSA - which I'm sure is true anyway!

Your IQ score is 122!

You are equipped with a verbal arsenal that enables you to understand complex issues and communicate on a particularly high level, making you a Word Warrior. Your command of words is so powerful that you are also a terrific communicator -- able to articulate big ideas to just about anyone.

The power of words translates to fresh ideas off paper too, in both artistic and creative pursuits. This allows you to be a visionary -- to extrapolate and come up with a multitude of fresh ideas.

My partner did it as well and he got 131, but the same description as above.

I was a Visionary Philosopher IQ 144

Your mind's strengths allow you to think ahead of the game -- to imagine or anticipate what should happen next in just about any situation. Because you're equally skilled in the numerical and verbal universes of the brain, you can draw from multiple sources of information to come up with new ideas and this makes you a Visionary Philosopher.

You also have a knack for matching and anticipating patterns in all sorts of situations, a talent that adds to your visionary philosopher mind.

138 - Visionary philosopher :lol:

and Dot got 127 :clap:

When I was in a US school, we used to do one of these tests every friday afternoon in 3rd Grade, so that at the end of the year, when we took the official test, we were so used to them that we got at least 20 points higher than we had at the start of the year :shame:

Later i looked into the work of Hans Eysenck and his famous fraudulent IQ tests, and his critics. Eysenck used his results to 'prove' blacks weren't as intelligent as whites, so others produced tests that used things urban kids would relate to and 'proved' that black kids were more intelligent than Yale students :dance: .

Imho most IQ tests aren't worth the paper they're written on (or html they're written in ;) ), but they're usually great fun.

Just done it and just realised that I have answer wrongly at the last question and why I'll do it again another day.. it's fun but I remember being assest at age 11/12 with plenty tests and a big alarm clock ticking loud and scoring only 115 in logic numbers and 125 in language and it was a bad and stressful :wacko: experience especialy that what I got from my Dad was hmmm your brother scored 135 in both.... :(

115 - Inspired Inventor

You have an unusually strong balance between verbal and mathematical skills combined with strong visual skills. However, the main reason that you are an Inspired Inventor is that your idea centre never shuts down, and you may not even be aware when your brain is working on the next great idea.

You are particularly adept at brainstorming or devising multiple solutions for any problem and this is the reason people flock to you for fresh ideas, advice, and insight.

:whistle::oops:

Off to go bury my pityful head in the sand now! :( LOL

135 - I'm a "facts curator" with a mind like a sponge, apparently. This is probably a polite way of saying I'm good at absorbing useless bits of information. :lol:

This test is unfairly biased towards maths and spatial problem solving I think. The questions requiring one to choose the next shape in the sequence always get me. When in real life is this skill ever required, I want to know??

Hi :)

just done it again and corrected 3 questions I answered wrongly and got 140 but I am still a visionary philosopher :lol::lol::lol:

Shape and sequence are suppose to show our strenght in logic well in fact the language aspect of the test is quite poor, not being English mother tongue there is no way I could score as much if the language was more complexe.

One I did not really understood :oops: was about John?? who likes 400 but not 300 likes 100 but not 99 and likes 3600 but not 3700 What does he likes 900, 1000, 1100, 1200 I thought first that it was 1200 who can be divided by 4 but 1000 can be divided by 4 so I thought may be it is 1100 because adding 400 + 100 + 600(from 3600) all numbers he likes gives 1100 but then 1200 is 3600 divided by 3 and 400 X 3 and 100 X 12 (12 is 4X3) well does anybody has a clue? :blink:

John likes square numbers so the answer's 900

400 = 20 x 20

100 = 10 x 10

3600 = 60 x 60

900 = 30 x 30

Hi Tez :thumbs:>:D<<'>

Spot on :thumbs: , thank you, :) of course it is quite obvious now, when I do numbers or problems solving I now tend to think it in English but when it's getting more complexe I reverse into French which annoyes my daughter when I help her with her math home work. ;):lol:

'Like a meticulous collector, you've fed your brain a unique set of facts and figures over the years and this makes you a Facts Curator. Whether or not you intend to absorb every piece of information that comes your way, your mind is a sponge for knowledge.

The words in your head could almost to fill a dictionary, and you're equally adept at manipulating numbers and detecting important patterns in number sequences.'

right. Jolly good. Just wish one of those bits of information involved the name af a decent builder to fix the kitchen floor!

The tickle IQ test is probably the least reliable of the lot,plus they aren't able to judge real intelligence,real intelligence is knowledge and knowing what to do with it.

The tickle test gave me 73,[iQ tests usually give me 76] not surprising and not bothered,I am uselss at these things but have knowledge in areas that matter to me.

hi all thanks for your replies bout the website will give it a go had a laugh i think we all are intelligent on this forum it doesn't matter what score you get at the end of the day you all do a brilliant job looking after the kids which in itself is hard enough at times.update on the twins 3 weeks ago i approached our new head teacher to ask him if it would be possible for him to have the educational psychologist in to assess my 2 i was amazed he said yes and promptly filled out the forms,last week the senco teacher told me he was coming in to assess another pupil and i had to sign a yellow form for her on it they had written that a psychologist was sent in last year and everything was ok,i stated she was a trainee and not from the education department either but from the so called expert who said the twins did not have an asd this was after only seeing them each for 1/2 an hour he is a child psychiatrist who happened to take a course on the NAS the blooming man had a cheek to write to me to ask me if i wanted to see him again would i write to him i will tell u if i wrote to him i would have ended up in court.what made the headmaster move so quick was the fact i had spoken to the top man in education for our area who just happens to be an expert in aspergers although he wouldn't assess the twins at this stage he may do in the fututre,and the other incident happened about 3weeks ago twin2 was set upon in the playground by 7 boys who continually threw snowballs at him his brother went to help him and was pulled to the ground they both fell and banged their heads,result twin2 with massive headache and sickness and ill all weekend come the monday terrified to go into school,well me and hubby requested a meeting with headmaster first thing monday morning told him what had transpired gave all boys names which he made come into his office (they all blamed each other) twin2 was also there although he felt uncomfortable about it we told him do not worry always come to us for help never keep these things to yourself as all my boys have been told this oh well we carry on and fight the fight im determined this will be the year to have the twins sorted one way or the other enough ranting and raving must go and make some coffee keep smilin luv karin :D:D:D:D:D:D
