    Back from hols

Hiya Enid, welcome back, hope there were some good moments too to remember ! Clare x x x
  2. Oh poor you, its so disappointing when you put in so much effort to have a day out and it all seems to go terribly wrong. Connor is always moaning about his legs and feet aching too, in fact this has gone on for years, funny coz as a baby he was so desparate to walk and was up and running by 9 months old. Feet seemed to be to worse problem and at 10 years old he was dx'd with Policeman Heel and inserts were recommended, the waiting list at the time was horrendous so we went private and paid over 700 for 2 pairs of specially made inserts one for every day shoes and one for sport shoes/trainers....typically would he wear them !!!!! I do think too the weight thing is a problem, like your son my son too has put on a lot weight due to lack of exercising from being out of school and a fear of leaving the house. Anyway good to hear things are now back on track for you. <'> <'> <'> <'> Clare x x x

    Snow!!

I drove home through the snow last night here in Surrey and managed to scrap a nice pile off to make a bit snowball to take in and show the boys, which caused some excitment !!! It was beautiful up the fields this morning walking the dogs and then when I returned after 4pm this afternoon it was there there, so muct be blimin cold. Went to get some of the freezer today and what did I find sat on a shelf.......yup you got it............ the snowball Clare x x x
  13. I would be the same too, I hate it when things get broken. Last week Connor was kicking a light plastic football around the lounge I was up stairs (making one of many very important phone calls) in the space of of about 10 minutes he managed to knock over a glass of squash covering his school work, knock over a lamp and the pendulam off the clock on the wall.....fortunately nothing was broken, but I was livid and the ball was no more ! Bit like the time when Connor and his friend smashed the rear window on my car, could not get too cross as I was the stupid person who brought them both a catapult Glad you've calmed down and that the boys have learnt a lesson. 18. Esther, Not got much experience in this field, but can only advise from my expereince of interviews (being on both ends) is that when you answer the questions back them up with an example of how you with deal with that particular situation from past experience. Good luck Clare x x x
  19. Thank you, thank you, thank you, could not have done all this without you, my special thanks go to Flora, Jsmum and Cat your advice has been so valuable. My advice now to anyone going through simular is to never to give up the fight, yes its very very hard and draining but the rights of our children out weight this. I will continue with my complaint with the authroity with the support of my MP, I feel this neccessary and the least I can do to ensure other families in simular situation will perhaps in the future be treated with more respect, understanding and urgency. <'> <'> <'> <'> <'> Clare x x x
